Fyro Tenax 22L Backpack

I am over 50. I have been in IT for 30. I have had some of those portable PCs and of course all sorts of Laptops later.

I have had the really cheap backpacks and I have bought some of those real expensive ones as well over time.

Over the years the Laptop backpack from IBM (back when they were still making them) and an IBM Laptop was my standard.

Needless to say once IBM stopped, so did I. Switched Laptop brand and was once again searching for the perfekt Laptop backpack.

I do have to mention here that even on the expensive IBM Backpacks the material died after about 3 years of use (could have been my usage, not blaming IBM).

I then discovered Fryo on Kickstarter and yes I have checked several others on kickstarter before and yes there have been kickstarter projects that i backed which where a bum deal.

Let's call it coincidence, because there really wasn't a way that I was going to pay that much money for something on kickstarter with the thought of a "bum deal" in the back of my head, but one of my sons saw the video "Hey, I know that guy, he does bag reviews on YouTube!"

Ooooook.

That was it. I klicked it.

Since then I have the original "Founders Edition" in daily use. After all this time today it still looks like I have only been using it for a couple of weeks.

There is no compromise. My Laptop is safe. Tracker in the hidden compartment since day one. My extra portable monitor is inside. My heavy duty powerbank has it's place.

At work I am known to have every cable you might ever need and every adapter you could use, well guess what, every single piece has it's place in the backpack (yes the adapters are in a small bag on their own).

As to comfort I have to admit I do not need to go far with it on a daily basis, but when I do I have no complaints at all.

Being who I am of course I bought the beverage things, of course for the left and the right. But then again I suck at being hydrated, so to this date I have never used them, so that is the only part that I can not comment on.

So thank you Aaron for making this bag and sorry, I probably will not buy another one, as this one seems to last for ever, but if you are wondering what I am doing here writing a review after all this time out of the blue, good question ... Xmas is around the corner and one of my sons turned into an IT guy :)

I need this in xpac.

I use the T22 as my backpack for work. The organization that the pack gives me is great for keeping my day organized.

I am a perfectionist at the core and my journey for a backpack all started with the idea of finding the perfect bag for one bag travel that can also be used as a daily work bag.

I followed Aaron and team through the entire process and all of their updates. If you have any hesitation on purchasing this bag, don’t. Throw all your worries away, pull the trigger and buy the bag. You won’t be disappointed.

Premium materials, unparalleled breathable back support system, and my favourite part, the best shoulder straps I have ever used. I have broad shoulders and a larger frame which makes fitting traditional backpacks comfortably for long periods of time a struggle. This backpack has not only met my comfort needs but has exceeded expectations in every way.

After writing this review, I have discovered the end game bag. Think this will be my next purchase!
