Fyro Levo Travel Backpack

Just tried out the Levo 30 L bag with a half (3kg) of my typical load for a 3 mile walk. I have a larger frame, 5 11 with a long torso and broad shoulders. Fit is perfect and the shoulder straps are really comfy. The bag rides high similar to the GoRuck GR1 and the straps feel similar but more comfortable than the AER travel pack. For me, at least on the 30 L , the hip belt would be too high if I used them. When restocked I may try the 36 L but I typically prefer a smaller bag and pack less and lighter. Fabric is great. This bag is considerably lighter than my comparable AER, Go Ruck and Evergoods bags and similar in weight to the Tom Bihn 30L Techonaut. Only changes would be one Zippered pocket inside the from pocket. One internal o ring in the main compartment similar to TB and one D ring above the water bottle pocket.

I got the Fyro Levo 36L on preorder and wanted to wait until I actually took it on a trip before I wrote a review. However I used it almost immediately for an atypical reason. I was taking part in a bake off for my brother's birthday and needed to carry all the homemade cookies I made. My normal Able carry backpack was too small to handle the containers but the Levo turned out to be perfect. It was literally a couple of days after I got it and I went to this party and was so worried about anything happening to the Levo that I wore it on my back the entire party! I know, it was a little insane, but I can't think of a better comfort test than having the bag on my bag for three hours straight! People kept saying "take the bag off stay a while" but I barely noticed it was there. It performed like a champ! I was so thrilled.

Then a few months later, I finally got to go on a trip and use it. I went away for a week and the bag was a dream! It continued to be amazingly comfortable even when fully packed out. I was going on a beach trip and it did a great job of fitting everything I had. Some people might like lots of compartments but I prefer the flexibility of the wide open space and if I need more organization I can always use packing cubes and pouches. On this trip, It fit two packing cubes (medium and small) my tech pouch, my dopp kit, an inflatable mattress (so ridiculous that I even took that giant thing with me), shoes, a pillow, an iPad and I am sure I am forgetting a few other things. The bag handled it all.

Aaron build a bag according to what he likes and turns out that is exactly what I wanted in a bag too. The only thing I have to say is poor Aaron! He built his dream bag and then has to avoid using it because he is busy testing and reviewing other bags all the time. What torture! As for me, you'll never catch me using another bag.

Really happy with the Fyro Levo Travel Backpack 36L. Aaron delivered exactly as described and the bag feels very well made. The quality and finish are excellent, the materials are gorgeous, and I love the interior lining and YKK zips. The straps are fantastic too — they distribute the weight so well that the bag feels really comfortable to carry. I also really like the interior organisation, which keeps things practical without being overcomplicated.

A few small things that would make it even better would be security loops, a top pocket, and maybe a lighter grey or coyote brown interior. A suitcase-style opening would also be a great addition. Overall, it’s a beautifully made bag and I’m very impressed. Wishing your company every success and I’m looking forward to seeing more great products in the future

I haven’t taken my trip yet so don’t have much data. Backpack showed up as expected. So far it has lived up to the description. I’m impressed with how light it is. I pre packed what I think I’ll be carrying in the backpack and was pleased with what it could handle. So far just wearing around the house, it was very comfortable. The real test will be on my 2 week trip to italy. My plan is to carry on a 21” wheeled suitcase and use the back pack as my personal item. I won’t overpack either. Hopefully won’t be forced to gate check my suitcase. Not being weighed down with too many clothes and unnecessary baggage is the goal!
