Fyro Levo Travel Backpack

My wife and I are avid world travelers and transitioned from checked luggage to carryon a few years ago to travel smarter. As I’m planning our 10th anniversary trip to Italy this fall, I’m hesitant to bring our rolling carryons through train stations and cobblestone streets, so I researched “best travel backpacks” and wound up on Nomads Nation to see the Fyro Levo 36L, which is the same capacity as our rolling hardshell carryons. This backpack checks all of our boxes and is so brilliantly designed and comfortable. We love the attention to ergonomics and simplicity, while using top notch materials for durability and light weight. One detail that I personally like is that there is no front pocket for thieves to access when you’re wearing the backpack in a crowded situation. All the zipper access is protected close to your body. I originally bought one for myself to try out and we loved the design so much, I bought one for my wife as well. Although we haven’t traveled with them yet, we’ve pack-tested mine with what we expect to bring and it’s perfect! We cannot wait to travel with them to Italy later this year!

I tend not to leave my laptop in the overhead compartment on airplanes so I’m always looking for a better backpack or bag for my computer that will fit under the seat in front of me. I had the T22 and it was great but a little small for my needs since I bring so much stuff to do on the plane. The Levo (smaller size) turned out to be perfect. I fit my Macbook Pro, my iPad Pro, a shawl for the plane, my lunch, cords and charger, and even had room for my knitting project to work on in the plane. The bag was comfortable to wear despite the heavy load I was carrying and it kept my laptop super safe. I especially like the streamlined form so that nothing caught when I slipped it under the seat. Overall, a great purchase.

Took my Levo 30L for a long weekend in Austin, Texas. It replaced the Fjallraven 28L pack I usually use for this type of trip.

The bagged loaded easily with the same load out as the Fjallraven handles. Using packing cubes and small bags, the pack loaded easily. I was particularly impressed
by the dedicated volume of the from pocket.

The harness system was very comfortable on my broad shoulders especially during the long walk between Terminals B & A at the Salt Lake City airport.

The bagged looked great; sleek, compact and professional. While I am part of the bag and a half crowd, the bag was well organized and did everything I asked of it.

I'm considering the 36L bag to replace my Aer Travel Pack 35 Liter. You did a great job.

I live in a remote community and use the backpack for transporting my laptop and groceries. The only complaint I have is that I wish the laptop space accommodated an 18" laptop; however, I just use the larger compartment to carry it instead and it holds it fine, it just lacks the false bottom and padding so I just need to be careful when transporting it. When not used to carry my laptop, I'm able to stuff about a weeks worth of groceries inside and can comfortably carry about 50lbs on my back with the chest strap and hip belt for several kilometers. I can also fit a large Hydroflask 40oz water bottle inside the holder while the bag is packed out. The build quality has been excellent with the handles being very soft and durable. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and well worth the price, they make grocery trips much better. A very versatile bag that has been my all around go to bag, would recommend.

I love everything about this backpack, its the most comfortable one if ever bought, everything about it is just right. The perfect backpack!
