Fyro Citta Sling

I was looking for 2 things in this bag. 1. to carry the stuff in my pockets plus a few things that might be handy to have eg. AirPods, prescription sunglasses and it works great for those although the sunglasses are a little tight. 2. A bag to carry my phone when I am working around the yard mowing and gardening and for that it works well but I have to attach a hip belt from my Waterfield sling and with that belt it works perfectly even though that belt is pretty wide. It would be nice to have an option to use a hip belt that was made for the sling. The last use I have for the sling is to add travel documents but I haven’t traveled yet so can’t speak to that kind of usage yet.

The highest quality bag available, excellent quality materials, I really liked the size, and it's also really comfortable. My only criticism is that the small pocket where you can put glasses is too low, and if you put something a little wide, it affects the space for the glasses. Other than that, everything is excellent.

I own a lot of slings—seriously, far too many. I bought the 3-litre sling, received it, kept it, used it once… and then completely forgot about it.

A few weeks ago, it resurfaced. As someone who regularly uses bags from two major brands that I absolutely love, I have to admit that this one has slowly but surely become my favourite. This may sound like a cheap commercial, but believe me, I’m not being paid by Fyro.

I can’t quite explain why, but it just feels right. And this is because the design and concept is right. Even when your hands are full, it’s easy to open and grab your keys. The zipper pulls are easy to reach, and the zippers glide sooo smoothly. Little but important things …

My advice: don’t waste your time and money searching for the nearly perfect sling. This is it. 😉

A version 2 with a small grab handle on top would make it absolutely perfect.

I have been using my Citta sling for a couple of weeks now. Still getting to understand how it works best. I love the size, perfect for my needs. The fabrics are great, both the sling and the shoulderstrap. Really pleased with it so far. Couple of things I’m not so keen on. I would like a dedicated pen-loop, much more important to me than the cable feed-through! And the device ‘protected’ space seems a bit too small somehow - I used it for my e-reader (Boox 6) initially, but now put that in the main part of the bag since it seemed to limit the available space in the bag too much the other way. Strangely it seems to work better with my iPad mini, which is much larger. Maybe that’s it, the small size of the ereader is mis-shaping the pocket… whatever, it’s a very minor thing and I work around it. Finally, I love the free-running zips. So used to coated zips, so pleased to discover that non-coated are so much nicer to use!
